Step 2: Tap on the three-bar icon at the top. Step 1: Launch the Google Drive app for Android. To disable this setting, follow the steps as shown below. You may have picked this setting by mistake. If your phone is using mobile data, nothing will sync. So if that setting is enabled, your files will upload or update on Wi-Fi only. Google Drive app gives you a choice to upload everything over Wi-Fi and lets you save your mobile data. Hopefully, that should help in syncing files properly. If some file upload is stuck or you aren’t seeing new files, swipe down from the top of the screen to refresh the app. If you swipe down on the Google Drive app, it refreshes the app. Try switching to Wi-Fi from mobile data and vice versa. If the issue occurs for other apps as well, then troubleshoot your internet connection. So check if other apps are functioning properly or not. Often the problem is with your internet connection. Enable the toggle next to Drive if it is disabled. You will find various services that can sync to your phone. Tap on your Google account and hit the Account sync option. To check whether Google Drive sync is enabled or not, go to phone Settings and tap on Accounts. You must allow Sync in your Google account settings to let the Google Drive app sync all the contents.

If you are using Wi-Fi, reboot your modem as well. This is one of those magical solutions that works without resetting anything or playing with settings.
